O’Brien Estate is a family-owned Napa Valley winery that hosts private anniversary celebrations by reservation. Your celebration is entirely private: your own table above the vineyards, your own host, and an afternoon that belongs only to the two of you. The $895 Anniversary Celebration includes two private tastings, photography of the day by our trained staff, a dozen roses, and a custom labeled bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon marked with your names and the date, a keepsake from the year you are toasting. An Afternoon That Is Only Yours
There is no shared bar and no group tour here. You get a private table on a 40-acre estate in the Oak Knoll District, vineyard views to the Mayacamas Mountains, and up to three unhurried hours.
The estate’s wines carry the arc of a love story, Fascination, Romance, Seduction, and Passion, named for the winemaker’s romance poetry, a fitting backdrop for a toast to another year together. Many couples return on the same date every year, and their shelf of custom bottles grows a label at a time.

We will set the timing and the setting, a vineyard walk, your private table, or sunset, and have the roses, the photography, and your custom labeled bottle ready for the day. If you are planning it as a surprise for your partner, let us know and we will keep it quiet. Then the afternoon is yours, with estate wines and the view, at whatever pace feels right.
Options and Pricing
The Anniversary Celebration ($895 per couple) includes two Private Tastings, coordination of your celebration, photography of the day by our trained staff, a dozen roses, and a custom labeled bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon with your names and the date. From there, make it your own:
- Upgrade both tastings to our Reserve Tasting, five rare Reserve wines made in 100-case lots, 120 minutes. Ask us for pricing.
- Upgrade to two dozen roses, $85.
- Add a two-minute anniversary video of the celebration, $150.
- Order additional custom labeled bottles, $150 each, a lovely gift for family or for each other.

What is on the custom bottle? Your names and the date, on a bottle of our Cabernet Sauvignon, yours to take home from the day. Extra custom labeled bottles are $150 each if you would like one for family or for each other.
Can we bring our own photographer? Photography by our trained staff is included, so the day is captured naturally. Prefer your own photographer? You are welcome to bring one, and we can recommend local photographers we trust.
When is the best time to come? Late afternoon, when the light softens over the vines and the sun drops behind the Mayacamas Mountains to the west. We suggest a 5 to 7 pm tasting time.
